CNC is searching for experienced independent adjusters in New York state. If you're a licensed adjuster with at least 2 years of property adjusting experience, please apply by visiting www.cnc-claimsource.com/employment_application.php or by responding to this job posting. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling daily and/or catastrophe property claims - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to provide great customer service - Proficient in narrative writing - Strong Xactimate skills - Solid knowledge of field adjusting techniques and coverages - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently - Proficient in using mobile devices, computers, and Microsoft Office Suite - Must have your New York state adjuster license Duties and Responsibilities - Provide excellent customer service - Always act with the utmost good faith in handling of the claim - Maintain professional and timely communication with the client - Maintain open claims to stay within service level objectives defined by the carrier - Understand liability and property policy language and be able to make coverage recommendations, as well as draft Reservation or Rights letters and/or Coverage Denials, as may become necessary - Maintain adjuster licensing and any continuing education or bonding that is required to maintain licensing - Review, contact and schedule new claims assignments - Investigate losses based on evidence noted during the inspection, photos that are provided by other parties and historic weather information - Determine origin and cause of a loss - Document losses per carrier requirements, including diagrams, photos, and notes - Determine coverage for damaged items based on the policy and any applicable endorsements - Determine if an expert is needed and assign experts as necessary following carrier guidelines - Estimate damages based on investigation utilizing estimating software - Work in relation with customers, agents, contractors and public adjusters in order to reach settlements - Determine if third party estimates are appropriate based upon reported damages and other evidence; reconcile those estimates or prepare comparitive estimates - Provide estimate, payments, and any other necessary documentation to policy holders after settlement - Draft and provide for approval coverage letters when damages are present for other perils or other damages that are not covered - Accurately record any communication, or activity relevant to the claim - Attach documentation provided or sent to you that are relevant to the claim file - Assist others as called upon by the Claims Supervisor/Manager Learn more about CNC by visiting our website https://adjustingexpectations.com/?utm_source=CADO&utm_medium=Ad&utm_campaign=NY | ||
